Today you are going to apply your knowledge of the 9 types of figurative language. You and 1 other person have been chosen by Disney to create a new cartoon movie "Seedfolks" based on the 9 types of figurative language. They are asking that you pick a character and retell their story in figurative language and then make digital storyboard tiles. Disney would like you to share your figurative language "Seedfolks" story with them. Your Task from Disney: *Group up with another person to brainstorm ideas. *Use the resources provided to identify the 9 types of figurative language. *Pick a character from "Seedfolks" *Use the 9 types of figurative language to retell their story. *Create a digital storyboard tile for each example |

1. Find a partner 2. Review the notes on figurative language 3. Pick a character from "Seedfolks" 3. Retell the story by completing the Think-Sheet (see Mr. Spicer) 4. Sketch out the examples on the think sheet 5. Get your storyboard approved 6. Log into iPad and Navigate to: www.storyboardthat.com 7. Create your digital storyboard & SAVE YOUR WORK 8.
